Heidi and Franny Sailing

Franny is an Aerospace engineer and has worked on model airplanes, cars, and sailboats from the time she was very young. Growing up in Naples, Florida, Franny has a passion for taking things apart and putting them back together, something that anyone who likes to work on cars or boats can do. She started out with boats by taking an old dilapidated Sun Fish and making it sailworthy as a teen. This was how Franny learned to sail. She later purchased another sunfish and it has remained with her ever since.

Ever since being a child in Washington State, Heidi has always enjoyed being around water from riding ferries to water skiing. When she moved to Colorado at age four, she couldn’t wait to return to Washington State every summer to see her grandparents and interact with the water in some way. Heidi still dreamed of one day returning to the coast and spending her time near water. Heidi enjoyed time with Franny sailing Franny’s sunfish on the lakes of Colorado.
