Boating Safety for the Family
Join Lynn Disque of the USCG Auxiliary for a two-hour, family-friendly class for all ages which will prepare you to handle boats under all conditions, with emphasis on safety on the water and how important training is before becoming an operator or crew on a sailboat. Topics will include Navigation, Rules of the Road, Boat Equipment including the VHF radio, Emergency Equipment, Weather, Trailering and much more.
This class will be held Saturday, April 13, 2024, on the Bay Bridge Boatshow grounds from 9a-11a. The purchase of this ticket will also include a general admission entry to Saturday’s boat show and a $5 donation to the USCG Auxiliary. Children under 12 years are able to attend the class and the show at no charge but are requested to purchase the complimentary ticket to reserve their space in the class.
