Sailing One Life

Brooke grew up showing horses in Pennsylvania, before moving to Missouri to be a real farm girl. In 2011, she found herself chasing her career in finance on the East Coast of Florida, insert Gary here. Horse girl turned to boat bum, she always wants to be in or on the water. Previous to her mermaid duties here on One Life, Brooke worked for Ron Jon Surf Shop’s Corporate Office in Cocoa Beach. Although analyzing numbers from 9 to 5 was fun, it didn’t take much persuasion for her to quit crunching numbers and spend her days chasing turtles instead.

 

Gary was born and raised far from the ocean, just outside of Syracuse, NY. After completing his degrees in Mechanical Engineering, he was eager to get away from the cold and snow and moved to sunny Florida for his first job in 2009. He couldn’t help himself from flirting with the bubbly new accountant, Brooke, and the One Life crew was formed. After a second job working at Sea Ray Yachts and then a couple years designing launch equipment for the space industry, the yearning for adventure was just too strong.
